Dallas opened -9.5 favorites over a 0-4 Tampa Bay team starting a rookie undrafted quarterback for the second straight week. Every instinct in DFS says fade the Bucs, stack Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, and collect. The math actually supports that instinct. But understanding why helps you structure the parlay correctly rather than just pointing at chalk.

Here is the breakdown before tonight's 8:15 PM ET kickoff on Prime Video at AT&T Stadium.

The Jalon Daniels situation

Daniels stepped in after Baker Mayfield dislocated his thumb against the Vikings in Week 3 and is now facing a 3-plus game absence. His NFL résumé heading into tonight: one start against Green Bay (19-of-27, 148 yards, 1 touchdown, 2 interceptions) and one late-game cameo before that (0-for-3, 1 interception, 9 rushing yards on a meaningless final drive).

The prop line on his passing yards tonight is 181.5. That number is doing a lot of work.

The case for the over: Dallas has been one of the softer secondaries in the NFC, having allowed 251.5 passing yards per game last season (worst in the league), and their 2026 version has not shown meaningful improvement through four weeks. A desperate backup QB throwing against soft zone coverage is the scenario where even limited quarterbacks find counting stats. Advocates will point to Daniels completing 70% of his throws in the Green Bay start as evidence he can move the ball.

The case against: 148 yards in his debut is not an argument for 181.5. Game script is going to kill his volume. Tampa will run the football heavily in the first half to keep the game competitive, and when they go down two scores, they are asking a second-week starter to execute a two-minute offense against a Dallas pass rush that has been active all season.

The passing touchdown prop sits at 0.5, with the over priced at -239. That is expensive chalk for a prop that still carries genuine variance. Daniels threw two picks in his first start. If you want Bucs exposure tonight, the rushing yards prop at 46.5 is the cleaner play. His college profile at Kansas included 404 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns in his final season, so the legs are legitimate. In garbage time, a second-half Daniels scramble or two is entirely plausible, and 46.5 is a number that does not require him to turn into Lamar Jackson.

The Prescott and Lamb stack

Dak Prescott's passing line is 265.5 yards tonight. When Dallas is a 9.5-point favorite against a backup quarterback, the Cowboys are expected to control the game early, run the clock with Javonte Williams, and win by two touchdowns without Prescott needing to throw for 300 yards. That projection is probably right. The raw yardage number may be pedestrian.

CeeDee Lamb is a different conversation entirely.

Prescott's efficiency climbs in favorable game scripts, not the other way around. When Dallas leads comfortably, they are still throwing to Lamb on third downs, in the red zone, and on any drive where they need to convert. He is the target that absorbs every high-leverage throw in the offense. When Dallas dominated Tampa Bay in a similar spot last season, Prescott was efficient rather than prolific, and Lamb caught six balls for 84 yards and a score. That is a winning DFS outcome even without a gaudy total.

Lamb will be the most rostered player in every TNF showdown contest tonight. His ownership percentage will be high. That ownership is correct. The players who try to be clever and fade Lamb on this slate are working against the math of the matchup.

There is a version of this game where Prescott finishes with 240 passing yards and Lamb has 6 catches for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Both production curves lead to Lamb winning the night in DFS terms. Do not complicate it.

How to build your Wanna TNF parlay tonight

The straightforward core: Prescott over his passing yards line paired with CeeDee Lamb over his receiving yards. This is the high-ownership foundation most showdown entries will share. In Wanna's Main Event and Daily X contests, you do not get paid for being different. You get paid for being right, and this is the right side.

For tournament differentiation: add Daniels rushing yards over 46.5, or pair Bucky Irving over 52 rushing yards (Tampa will lean on the run early) with the Cowboys covering. This is the stack for Hail Mary entries where you need something the field is not holding.

Wanna's AI Parlay Generator builds the core entry in under a minute. Lock in the Cowboys stack, add the Daniels rushing prop if you want the differentiating piece, and customize from there.

The bottom line

This game almost certainly plays out the way the market is pricing it: Dallas wins, Prescott and Lamb produce, Daniels has limited ceiling. The question is not whether to be on the Cowboys' side. It is how much Bucs exposure to carry alongside the chalk to give yourself a tournament result rather than a mid-table finish.

Kickoff is 8:15 PM ET tonight on Prime Video. Wanna contest locks align with kickoff.
